As a pharmacist addicted to alcohol and other drugs, I read with interest "Behind the Prescription Counter" (August, "About Alcoholism" section). I think pharmacists are active in the alcoholism network, as my first sponsor is a pharmacist, and our state board of pharmacy showed real understanding of my disease when they reviewed my case.
