The Twenty-four-hour Wait-and-see Plan

Early in my sobriety, some sage told me never to do anything drastic until I waited twenty-four hours. With some righteous indignation, I informed him that some things required immediate action. He cited several instances that had made his life more tolerant and tolerable, and since the only thing I will buy wholeheartedly is the dream of a better life, I decided to try the formula. Here it is:
