HE WAS JUST being logical, as was the case in an anecdote from R. K. of California. It dealt with the days of the Old West and concerned a cowboy who was studying a sign in the window of a small hotel. It read: ROOM FOR A NIGHT, THREE MEALS, DANCING GIRLS, AND A BOTTLE OF WHISKEY--ALL FOR $1.
