Tuning Out God's Will

WHEN I FIRST came into the AA program, I had my sober life all laid out in my mind. I knew exactly what sobriety was going to bring: love, career, happiness. What I didn't know was this: By projecting all those things in my life, I unconsciously turned myself off to God's will for me.
