I Shouldn't Be Sober

BY LAS VEGAS odds, I shouldn't be sober in AA today. I did all the wrong things without even knowing it. Years ago, some old-timer would have told me to go back and do a little more drinking, because I hadn't hurt enough. I had never gone on the wagon, changed brands, or tried to cut down. I didn't know that liquor was a problem. To me, it was the answer to all my problems. Nervousness, you know--needed it to help me relax, get some sleep.
