I WAS INVITED to Ireland in June 1981, and I accepted. The invitation came from a stranger for the moment, a fellow AA member. I was his AA host and travel guide in New York for ten days. From the minute we heard each other's voice on the phone, it was love, the type of love one AA has for another. His first meeting here was at a women's prison, since his main interest was in prisons.
