Part of the Job Is Up to Us

TO MANY of us in AA, the Serenity Prayer is something we rattle off unthinkingly at the opening of meetings, or use as an abracadabra to ward off evil when we're troubled or upset. If it works that way for some, fine and dandy; but the prayer is really of little value unless well understood and wisely used.
