Good Ol' Higher Power

LIKE SO MANY of us, when I first sought help from AA, I was spiritually bankrupt. Also, perhaps like many of us, I was unaware that this was my principal shortcoming. My disease had stripped me of everything that had once been important to me. I speak primarily of my sense of values, honesty, integrity, and moral fiber. My priorities were less than worthless. I believe that misguided priorities can have negative values as opposed to no value.
