Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

MAYBE HE LIVED in the Sun Belt. It likely wasn't Minnesota, from which J. M. sent an anecdote about a farmer who had spent a long and liquid evening at the village pub. Upon leaving, he found that a blizzard had been raging. He tried to drive his truck home but got stuck about a mile short of there and had to struggle the rest of the way on foot through deep snow.
