AA Is Home in Any Language

WHEN I WAS twenty-one days sober, I went to Lima, Peru, on business. Because I would be gone for a month, most of my new friends in AA were understandably concerned. Besides my being so new in the program, those first three weeks had been an emotional roller coaster for me. The job itself would be intense, and many of the people I would be working with day and night were old drinking buddies of mine. One AA old-timer was adamant in advising me to turn down the project.
