THE WOULD-BE suicide couldn't felt much worse than a traffic cop in a story from F. D. of Ohio. The officer went on a bender one evening and reported for duty the next day in terrible shape. Two patrolmen passed the corner where he was directing traffic, and one remarked, "Poor Joe. He must feel awful."
