What's 'feelingism'?
It disturbs me when I hear it said or written that alcoholism is a "disease of feelings." Alcoholism is a disease--period! The first seven letters in the word tell me what my problem is. It seems to me that when feelings come into the picture, it clutters my thinking and I lose sight of my problem. I have alcoholism, not feelingism.
