Convention-goers speak up
The letter "Attention, Convention-Goers!" in the December issue prompted me to take up my pen. I came to AA in December 1957. In May 1958, my sponsor told me to get my bag packed; we were going to a convention. I told him I had no money. His reply was: "I didn't ask if you had any money. I told you go get your bag packed."
