Time Can Heal--Or Hurt

I just celebrated my thirteenth AA birthday, which is a miracle. At the meeting, I shared my story and called on people present, as I have done for the past twelve years. I talked about the times I had been in and out of jail, and about the last time I was sentenced, to an eight-year term, for attempted rape and assault. I can't say whether I was guilty or not, because I was in a blackout.
