Miracle for a Reluctant Drunk

I was, am, and probably always will be a reluctant drunk. I did not come to AA because I wanted to, but because I ran out of options. I did not agree to chair a meeting because I wanted to, but out of a feeling of obligation. I did not take the Steps because I wanted to, but because the alternative was too hard to face. I did not get involved in service because I wanted to, but because my group felt it was good for me.
