Coincidences Still Happen

ORIGINALLY, I came to AA only because I wanted to get my family back. Needless to say, I had a little problem with the Steps. But all during my early sober months, things would happen that guided me toward working on myself and away from that first drink. I just laughed them off as coincidences. But as the months went by and I could look at myself more honestly and with a more open mind, they began to look more like God doing for me what I could not do for myself. Then, I felt comfortable taking the first, two Steps, and the Third was soon to follow.
