Since April 25, 1982, there have been United States soldiers in the Southern Sinai to guarantee the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel. I have been here in the desert since August 1982 and finally found two other members of the Fellowship with whom to hold meetings. A third one joined us a little later; that made four altogether. In February, the other three left because their tour was up, so there I was, a loner again.
