WE ALL MISUNDERSTAND, and so did the two drunks in a story from J. H. of Michigan. They staggered aboard a bus, and the first one tried to pay his fare to a uniformed man. "Sorry," said the latter, "but you've made a mistake. I'm a Navy captain."
