Sense and nonsense on the road to recovery

ACCORDING TO M. M. of Illinois, after a day in the bars of Tia Juana, a certain fellow felt generous enough to buy his wife a fox fur wrap. Deciding to smuggle it through customs, he fastened it around his waist underneath his suit coat. At the border, when asked whether he had anything to declare, he replied, "Not a thing."
