Memoirs of a Former Puppet

UNTIL I STARTED working our AA program four years ago, I probably set myself up to be used. In my omnipotent wisdom, I would decide for my family, the people I loved, just what it was they needed or wanted. I knew when it was time for my younger sisters to choose careers, and I "counseled" them until they made decisions. I chose the time and place for my divorced sister, raising two children, to buy her first house, and "guided" her into that move.
