As I approach my fifth AA birthday (November 3), I am ordering my sixth Grapevine binder. For each year of sobriety, I have a binder holding twelve Grapevines. Each binder begins with a November issue and is labeled to indicate "First Year," "Second Year," etc. When I look at the shelf each day, I have an automatic reminder of (and much gratitude for) my lengthening sobriety.
