We Feel the Same Pain

No one is too young to be an alcoholic--or to get sober

I AM A seventeen-year-old, grateful, recovering alcoholic. When I came to Alcoholics Anonymous seventeen months ago, I was desperate, like so many of us who stumble through the doors of AA. Just being young doesn't mean we don't feel the same pain as older alcoholics, or our problems aren't as real.
