In Celebration, We Thank You . . .

WITH THIS ISSUE, the Grapevine celebrates forty years of carrying the AA message to every corner of the world. We of the editorial staff would like to think that the magazine has changed radically over the years--for the better, of course, and largely through editorial efforts. Indeed, we and our predecessors have made changes in format and style. The magazine has grown up with the Fellowship, reflecting the issues and the thinking of four fast-moving decades. Yet the language of the Grapevine is the language of the heart, never changing but constantly deepened and renewed.
