The story of an American Indian alcoholic
"IT WASN'T the Winchester 73 that won the West--it was John Barleycorn and broken treaties." That is a quote from one of our prominent leaders in the field of alcoholism. As I see it today, after some twenty-two years of being sober, it may be partially true. However, I have to be realistic now, and stop blaming the white man and the federal government for my disease.
