A 'general manager' retires
I am an alcoholic. I am powerless over alcohol and my life is unmanageable (on my own). My primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. Many times, I have had to remind myself of those facts, especially before I share, and while listening at AA meetings. Only then has a Higher Power been able to enter my life and use me as a productive channel.
