Praying the Fear Away

ALL OF MY early life, I was terrified. I can't remember a time when I wasn't afraid. My parents are drinkers, and I soon learned to be a "good little girl." Those of us who have been good little girls know exactly what that means: Walk softly; do not question authority; and share absolutely nothing--especially fear.
