Reading the March Grapevine, I came to the article "Personalities before Principles?" It so happens that I had been sharing about the same thing with my sponsor and some other AA members. I've been attending a certain meeting in which I felt very uncomfortable. When I got to the meeting, some of the people that I knew from other meetings would say "hi," but that would be it. I would sit down to wait until the meeting began, and no one would hold any conversation with me. I felt so alone and I decided I wouldn't go there anymore. But when I read that article, it showed me that first, they might benefit from my being there and second, I would undoubtedly benefit from the meeting.
