The Best 'Bah, Humbug' Ever

DURING THE first five years of my sobriety, anything that could go wrong did go wrong. The first year, my family turned against me, because I spent most of my evenings in church basements. My husband's job fell through when the company went out of business, and we separated briefly, till he found another job. My youngest girl was abused by a forty-year-old man, and I wanted to kill him. My son was sent to prison for robbery. My oldest girl married a man who disowned me. The youngest girl is involved with a man in his late forties, who won't allow me to see or have anything to do with my two grandchildren. And my own health hasn't been good.
