Pilgrims to the Castle

MY WIFE AND I, both members of AA, along with our two teenage children, had spent the entire fall in Romania, in eastern Europe along the Soviet border, far from our home-based source of spiritual strength in Washington State, U.S.A. We had brought the Big Book and other AA literature with us, the two of us had founded Grupa Una in Romania.
