For years I had a feeling of inferiority about being short (four foot ten), and when I finally found out where I belonged (AA), lots of older members told me that if I stayed sober one day at a time, went to plenty of meetings, got active, practiced the principles of AA each day, then I would do nothing but grow. And I haven't grown one sixty-fourth of an inch in the almost twenty-five years I've been sober! But, I have grown so much more between the ears that I love it down here now.
