SOUNDS AS THOUGH he had a quick demise, and speed reminds us of an anecdote about two chaps in a saloon who were chatting about this and that. "You know," said one, "I read the other day that the light from the sun travels to us at the rate of 186,000 miles a second. That's pretty fast, hey?"
