New Year's Eve In Rio

I KNEW IT WAS a Grapevine story even as I lived it. I've been subscribing seven years, and I recognized the genre--distressed AA travelers abroad rescued (often from their own folly) by providential intervention and/or kindly local members. After years of lip service to my own Higher Power, it came as a shock when I felt the touch of God in my own life.
