The reason for being there
A friend who usually takes me to Monday night's Serenity Meeting was working late. I'd made up my mind I wouldn't go. I had very good excuses: I can't hear what is said, and I get annoyed when the group laughs at something a speaker has said, nor can I see very well across the room. But my HP kept saying, "Be there."
