Steps a La Carte

I STARTED TO do some thinking a while ago about how I have worked the AA program for the last twenty years. It finally dawned on me that I had been hearing for years that the Steps should be taken in order, and I accepted this with no thought whatsoever. The most frequent statement I hear is that you can't take the Steps smorgasbord style. After thinking and reading about this, I have come to the conclusion that the Steps can be are taken in any order.
