A Tale of Two Prisons

WHEN I FINALLY realized I was living in a prison outside of jail, it was too late--I was on the inside looking out. I'm twenty-one, serving a fifteen-month sentence, and awaiting more charges. My drinking took me from heaven to hell. I was imprisoned though I was outside of jail, because of the pain I felt from stealing for my next drink day after day.
