PO Box 1980
During a vacation in New England this last October, my wife and I stopped in Boston and walked the Freedom Trail. In one museum, an 1864 Army medical question form was displayed. I'm sure that, of all the material within the building, God wanted me to read this. It dealt with the general symptoms of many diseases. My attention was drawn to question 6, which was the only two-part one listed. It asked, "Are you in the habit of drinking? Do you suffer from the horrors?" I'm sure this was a simple way of defining the Four Horsemen--the D.T.s--in 1864, long before any soldier or civilian could go to AA and deal with his problem.
