THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF SLIPS We AAs can make--one tragic, the other hilarious. How many times have you been sitting at a meeting and suddenly said to yourself as you listened to someone across the room, "Did I really hear that?" For instance, during a recent reading of our beloved First Step, someone confidently read, ". . .we were powerless over alcohol and our wives had become unmanageable." And a newcomer was heard to express gratitude to "my hiyakawa." (We think we know what he meant.)
