If We Fake It, We Won't Make It

A FEW DAYS AGO, my wife was making a suggestion when I said, "I know, I know!" As I said it, it occurred to me that I was using exactly the same words as some members who have been around the program for years but cannot stop drinking. True, they do know a lot about the program. Some of them can recite from the Big Book by memory and tell you the page numbers (something I cannot do). But they are still drinking.
