The Whole Garden

Recently at a meeting I heard the old remark, "God never promised me a rose garden." Now, this remark has always rubbed me the wrong way, so I decided to look at it more closely. My life has not really changed all that drastically, but what has changed is how I view things. I now see the whole garden instead of just the roses.
