Try a nonsmoking meeting

This letter is being written as a request for more AA groups to consider offering nonsmoking meetings, at least for a trial period. As an ex-smoker who quit only when unpleasant physical symptoms developed, there are some meetings I cannot attend because the smoke level is too high to tolerate. Others I can only attend in warm weather when doors and windows are open. Even in well-ventilated rooms, the smell is offensive but not, in itself, enough to keep one from attending.
