IN JANUARY OF 1980 I was introduced to AA by my triplet sister H. L. (sober eleven years now). Since my husband was on my back to stop drinking, I called H. L., who had prayed for me for six years and practiced tight-mouthism regarding my drinking. She took me to a meeting the next day.
