How Far Should We Go?

"IF I AM MAKING a Twelfth Step call or if newcomers ask for my phone number and help at a meeting--in both cases I give out my number and the rest is up to them. If they want to go to a meeting, I am available. That's my total responsibility. If they want this program as badly as I did, they'll call me. If they don't--that's their problem." That was one speaker I heard at a meeting discussing Twelfth Step work.
