If We Are Painstaking. . .

May I share with you how the promises on pages eighty-three and eighty-four of the Big Book have come true for me? It was only by working the Steps slowly, constantly, and sometimes painfully, that the sweet knowledge came to me that God, indeed, was doing for me what I could not do for myself. I get a glow, even now, just thinking about the miracle of it.
