I have often heard it said that if Jesus were to revisit, this world he would not recognize the church he founded. The same comment might be said of the founders of AA. If Dr. Bob and Bill W. were to wander into a typical AA meeting they might be hugged and kissed and have their hands held, but chances are they might not hear a word about the AA program of recovery.
