Sex and sponsorship
In a recent article, "By the Book" (February 1986 Grapevine), the author quoted an accepted AA maxim: Men should sponsor men, and women should sponsor women. In most cases, this is not only prudent, but wise. When I was new to the Fellowship, however, I received help from a wide range of people, and have tried to give it back in the same measure.
