Free at last

Like many alcoholics, I have had the problem of wanting to "fit in" ever since my early childhood. The color of my skin is black, though as a teen I was in an interracial school. But I felt a lot of peer pressure to adopt the mannerisms of whatever group of people I was with. I would play whatever role I had to play just to fit in.
