Searching for a New Group Conscience

It seems to me that the Fellowship is searching for a new group conscience about the problem of admitting new people into closed AA meetings who call themselves "nonalcoholic addicts." This is as it should be. Our knowledge of ourselves and our relationship with each other and with our Higher Power should grow and change from time to time, and what was true five or ten or forty years ago may not be true today.
