Will the Circle Be Unbroken?

We have all attended meetings that seemed to be going awry, the secure feeling of the group eroding like a sand castle with the incoming tide. Then, when hope and sanity are all but lost, an old-timer, sitting in the back of the room, manages to redirect us and set us back on track with only a few short comments. Amazing how that happens! We had one such old-timer. You know him. He was the one who spoke slowly and thoughtfully and never raised his voice for emphasis.
