Almost Too Old for AA

Well, that's the way I've been thinking for the last three months. Oh, I'm not going to retire. I still go to meetings. But when almost everybody is a generation younger than I am, if not two generations, it's hard. And a lot of people look at me as if I were an old moss-covered monument. It's no good telling them that if they hang in there, they'll end up with a long sobriety record like mine, since many of them weren't born when I joined AA. No, I'm a precious relic and that's all there is to it. Very, very old and very, very sober.
