On the Lord's Prayer

When I first arrived in AA one of my big surprises was the use of the Lord's Prayer at the end of the meeting. I thought it might be the eccentricity of that particular group (it met in a church, after all), but I soon realized that nearly all the groups I attended ended their meetings this way. I wasn't offended, but I figured it was just a leftover from the way our program began, something we kept up for sentimental reasons. I said it along with everybody else and didn't pay much attention.
